Walpole- Western Australia, is surrounded by the Walpole-Nornalup National Park and the Walpole-Nornalup Inlet System. 

There is so much to see and explore in the Walpole region whether you’re travelling by foot along the famous Bibbulmun track, in a car or even on a boat.
 

 

Below are  just a few of the attractions that Walpole is famous for:
  • National Parks – full of remote beaches, rivers, and the famous Walpole wilderness.

  • Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk – not one for those afraid of heights! The tree top walk is a 600 metre walkway suspended forty metres above the ground, giving you a beautiful bird’s eye view of the forest and surrounding area.

  • The Giant Tingle Tree – a huge 24 metres in circumference! These amazing trees grow nowhere else in the world but a 14km radius of the township of Walpole,

  • Fantastic fishing – whether you choose to fish from the inlet, out in the ocean or from the jetty, you’re almost guaranteed a good catch!

  •  Beautiful Beaches – there are several beaches worth visiting in the local area – Mandalay Beach, Peaceful Bay are amongst the most popular.

  • Bibbulumun Track – If you are after a more active break, there are many walk trails in and around the Walpole region.  The most famous of course being the Bibbulmun Track which actually runs alongside the Walpole Hotel Motel.

  • Water sports – There are also plenty of places in and around Walpole to swim, surf, canoe or even snorkel!
